What is Muay Thai?
Muay Thai, also known as Thai boxing, is a traditional martial art from Thailand. It is often referred to as “the art of the eight limbs” because it uses techniques that involve hands, elbows, knees and feet. Muay Thai is not only a martial art, but also an effective self-defense method and an intensive workout that promotes strength, endurance and flexibility.
Muay Thai is also a lot of fun because it offers a varied and dynamic workout that challenges both the body and the mind. Here are some reasons why it is so popular:
- Full body workout: Muay Thai works all muscle groups and improves general fitness.
- Stress reduction: The intensive training sessions are ideal for reducing stress and clearing your head.
- Self-confidence: Learning self-defense techniques strengthens self-confidence.

Is there a trial training session?
You are welcome to come along for a trial training session!
The trial training is completely non-binding and costs a one-off fee of 15 euros.

What makes SJMT different from other gyms?
We are fully specialized in Muay Thai, which is why we exclusively offer Muay Thai courses and no other martial arts.
Our studio offers a friendly and warm atmosphere in which everyone is welcome – whether beginner, advanced or professional.
Our central location in Mitte is also easily accessible by public transport.
What is the minimum age required for Muay Thai?
You can start Muay Thai Lv.1 at the age of 13. Lv.2 from 16 years. Children’s training from 5 yrs.
Can I pause my contract?
Yes, of course you can. Depending on the contract term (min. 1 month max. 3 months). The application can be found in the apps (self-service).
Until when is it possible to cancel a course?
You can cancel your course at least 3 hours before your training starts.
